Rumours can spread easily with no information, so we intend to answer the question "Where do McDonald's tomatoes come from?" once and for all.

LOCALLY SOURCED

Our tomatoes primarily come from farms in the Frankllin region south of Auckland.

CAREFULLY INSPECTED

All of our tomato deliveries are carefully inspected prior to processing and are then washed through a multi-stage wash system. And it's only once they get to the restaurant, that they're finally sliced, ready for your burger.
