McHappy Day is coming!
This year is looking more McHappy than ever – and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you and your whānau.
Together, we’re raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®). RMHC New Zealand gives families with a hospitalised child the greatest gift of all – time together. In 2024, RMHC New Zealand provided 43,822 nights of free accommodation and support for families across Aotearoa.
The following restaurants will be holding in-store activations including entertainment for the kids and special guest appearances throughout McHappy Day on November 1st.
Lincoln Road, Auckland – 9am to 1pm
Lower Hutt, Wellington – 9am to 1pm
Riccarton, Christchurch – 9am to 1pm
Everyone can join in!
From now until 1 November, you can show your support in two fun ways:
McHappy Cookies – just $3 a pack.
McHappy Stickers – $2 each, or collect all three for $5.
This year’s sticker buddies – Grimace, Mayor McCheese and The Fry Friends – are on a special mission to help raise funds. You’ll find them at Macca’s restaurants, ready to spread smiles while supporting families staying at RMHC houses across New Zealand.

For every Big Mac sold, we’ll donate $1 to RMHC New Zealand. So whether it’s lunch with workmates or a family meal together, every bite helps keep families together too.
