McHappy Day is incoming!
This year is looking more McHappy than ever.
We can’t wait to raise more money for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®). RMHC New Zealand gives families with a hospitalised child what they need most – each other. In 2023, RMHC New Zealand provided families with 42,206 nights of free accommodation and support at its houses across NZ.
The following restaurants will be holding in-store activations including entertainment for the kids and special guest appearances throughout McHappy Day on November 2nd.

Mount Wellington, Auckland – 12pm to 4pm
5 Cross Road, Hamilton - 9am to 1pm
Roberts Street, Taupo - 12pm to 4pm
Lower Hutt, Wellington - 9am to 1pm
Petone, Wellington - 12pm to 4pm
Riccarton, Christchurch - 12pm to 4pm
Sydenham, Christchurch - 9am to 1pm
Andersons Bay, Dunedin - 9am to 4pm
Everyone can help
From now until November 2nd, you can donate by purchasing McDonaldland sticker buddies – only $2 each or $5 for all three. The three buddies, Birdie, Grimace and Hamburglar are on a special mission to help raise funds. Find them at select Macca’s restaurants and help support NZ families staying at RMHC New Zealand houses.
